   1st Casino in Maryland
   1st Casino in Maryland
OK, so we got tired of all the rain this weekend on the boat and took a ride up from Baltimore to Perryville Maryland. Home of Marylands first casino.
Well, we should have stayed in Baltimore in the rain. All I did was loose, and Sharon didn't fare any better!
It's a Hollywood casino. Its nothing more then a slot house IMHO. The sign at the front states, open 8am till 2am. Then we see inside the casino it actually closes at 9pm now. The place was empty for a weekend day with rain scheduled for the whole day. The VP was all either gimmick, or poor pay. (they made Harrahs look good)
Upon entering, they told my wife she couldn't bring her $6 starbucks coffee inside, so we disliked the place from the start and we didn't even get a players card yet. Players booth all the way in the back. Casino staff had the personality of a bunch of cockroaches! NONE.
Self serve soda machine was all I had to get a drink.
We left wondering why we even made the trip. Should have drove another 45 min to Harrahs Chester!
We have a Hollywood casino in Harrisburg PA, I've never taken that ride, and now I know I won't!
I only really post this , as lately I was on a bit of a winning streak, and it is over! You don't always win, and I am proof of that!
LOL

Lee - Sounds like you're better to stick to Harrah's - that's where your luck is!

(That's really annoying about Sharon not being able to bring her Starbucks in. That in itself is enough to drive business away.)

Well, one of my employees went to the Harrisberg/Grantville Hollywood casino over the weekend and had a fun time. But they went for the dancing and just gambled a little. (how do people do that)?
