JMT, I've only been to a few of those. If you had to choose 5 to try, which ones would you choose?

First let me say that the restaurant list is constantly changing.

Very good question. Of course I have several answers.

5 Restaurants that I know I like
Mesa
Casa di Amore
Palm
Delmonico
Gallaghers

5 that I want to try
American Fish...always seems interesting
Bacio...was not bad, but now they have the former head chef of Rao's
Joe's Seafood...always hear great reports
RM...very popular and good reviews
Del Frisco's...Popular chain based in Dallas with good reviews.

5 that I don't like
Diablo's
Biscayne
I Heart Burgers
Tacos & Tequila
KGB Burgers

Good information, Joe. I might like to try those on my next Vegas run. So, in your opinion, would the head chef of Rao's at Bacio now boost the place a lot?

Chef Carla Pellegrino should be great for Bacio. I've seen her on several interviews. She is a happy chef. Bacio was good but inconsistent before she arrived. She has overhauled the menu and the prices have increased about 25%. She still wants to modify the restaurant to include an open kitchen. She is often seen singing in her open kitchen of her restaurant in Henderson.

BTW, she is half Brazilian and half Italian. So depending on the level and region of Italian you prefer, it might make a difference.

When you follow the link, go to the restaurant page, and click on a restaurant, the special Restaurant Week menu(s) for that restaurant pops up. It's pretty interesting and you can spend a long time on that page.

Restaurant week is not only a good chance to hit up your favorites. It's also an excellent opportunity to sample places that you are curious about.

Lee, that would be cool if you could make it for restaurant week and Absinthe.
