Thrifty and Dollar are going to be swallowed up by either Hertz or Avis. They have been told to come up and submit their best offers by October.
So it looks like we will soon have even less options while renting cars!

That's sad Lee. I think competition is healthy for all.

JMT, the only thing this buy out will do is raise the price of renting a car! IMHO
