So, I finally made a Las Vegas trip commitment!
Vegas, Sept 10 to 17, 2011.
Flying JMT's favorite airline, out of Philly. This will be the first time I am taking a connection flight on Southwest!
I made the reservation, sitting on a small boat in Baltimore, waiting for Hurricane Irene to pass.
So, anyone up for cocktails, or lunch, or perhaps dinner?

Next question, anyone know how long absintinth (spelling) is playing????

This will be a little different for us, as we almost always plan a trip around a holiday. I am hoping the crowds will be less, although it's the perfect time of year for a vacation to the best place on earth!

I hope my east coast luck follows me to Vegas!

I think the Absinthe permits with the county and the contract with Caesars end on Sept 16. I THINK. They have not said if they will extend their contracts.

I won't be joining you for any meals, due to dental issues.

The San Gennaro Feast is Sept 13-18 at The Rio. Lena Prima is moving to New Orleans very soon and I need to find out if she will play during that festival. If so, I'll be there a night or two or three. I don't know if it would be your cup of tea with wall to wall strangers bumping into you, it's outside, the food is spicy, and the music might not appeal to you.

I think that you will like situation with crowds being less in Las Vegas on the strip.

Are you gonna split your rooms this time too? I'm gonna check out the Plaza again after the official opening.

We are doing a split. The strip is nice, but we really like the downtown casinos and it's friendliness. 3/4 split. Thinking of doing 4/4 split with a day over lap in the middle. it's all free, so, why not. After all Caesars has much nicer rooms! LOL

We might at least take a lookie lou around the festival. I've heard you mention this a few times now over the past years.

BTW, the boat is small in comparison with my friends boats, it's 37ft, and we moved it to a safe harbor (baltimore). hey, it's an adventure! LOL

Is lena still making jewelry?

This trip will seem so short, but we got to start some place. We also plan on a Thanksgiving trip as well, and there is talk about a Tahoe trip before years end too!

I think Lena is still selling jewelry. I don't know how much manufacturing she is doing with a big move on the calendar.

I think the weather might be more to your liking. Cooler temps but higher humidity.

I'll be happy just to see the sun! Been raining on the east coast all week and the rest of the week doesn't look any better!
