One of the very best acts of Absinthe was heartbroke to hear that Absinthe was closing at Caesars Palace. So Vittorio and Geniia Arata began looking for a job elsewhere. The couple otherwise known as "that skating act that is beyond words" landed a contract with V, The Ultimate Variety Show at The Miracle Mile. Had they known Absinthe would be continued, they would not have been looking for a job.

David Saxe, who owns the V theater and most of the entertainment in Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile knew the V show was wearing thin, had old equipment and the seating was horrible, so he shut it down and will give it a facelift. When it comes back in October, he promises it will be better than ever, and will feature the Skating Aratas doing an even better act than they did at Absinthe.

Over at Caesars, Absinthe is working on a better tent and promises to have an even better skating act. They too will re-open sometime in October.

Let the skating wars begin.
