Vegas Thanksgiving week, anyone else going to be intown???

Possible meet, for food or cocktails?

There's a possibility I may be in town Thanksgiving weekend with my sister-in-law.

I'm coming in early this year - arriving tomorrow (16th) and departing on Sunday. Will be in Buffalo with Mom and family following that.

We arrive the 18, head home the 26. Post something here if anyone wants to meet for a meal or just cocktails. Note we generally eat better the first half of the week, while we are at Caesars on the strip!

Lee, Do you have some free time on the 22(Tue) or 23(Wed)? Lunch or dinner?

You know I'm always in town, Wednesday the 23rd, afternoon is good for me.

I'll be passing through on Friday, the 26th, on my way to Pahrump, then back into LV the next day. It looks like I'll probably be staying at the Worldmark on South Vegas Blvd. A couple of acts I want to see are David van Such (of course!) and Bruce Zarka. I think he may still be at The Bellagio in one of the lounges. Does anyone know? I'm thinking of Las Vegas for New Year's but haven't booked it yet.

I don't know if you'll still be on the strip or downtown and I don't want to tie up your vacation. Pick one, or something else. This will be a busy day in town and a lot of popular places might be crowded.

Have you ever tried Blondie's? I think you were getting newsletters or something from them. They've remodeled, and it looks like they did a good job. Not bad for bar food. It might be pretty loud though.

The Peppermill is big, generic, and easy to get in and out of.

I know you like the Triple 7 brew pub. Their food is usually good.

BB Kings at the Mirage is close to Caesars and does lunch pretty well.

Grind Burger on Tropicana is the Las Vegas home to the Juicy Lucy, the burger with the cheese inside the burger patty.

Mexican food is good on a cold day. There's Bonito Michoacan, Viva Mercardos, Lindo Michoacan, and Casa Don Juan.

There's a new Hash House a Go Go in the Plaza.

I haven't been to the All American Bar and Grill at the Rio in long time.

Does Gordon Biersch do anything for you?

My favs for BBQ have closed. There are options.

I've cut back my dining a great deal, so pick something that you like, even if it isn't on the list.

Just wanted to say thanks to my friends for finding the time to come out a share some time with me. Daisy, JMT, Ralph, my sister Sandy, and my lovely wife (2 years and still counting) Sharon.
