can anyone tell me how the accomadations at mb are ? how the shops, restaraunts, buffet and service is? and how the rooms and bathrooms compare to mega hotels?

The rooms are way above average. Standard rooms include very large bathroom with seperate soaking tub and nice shower stall. A $20 toke got me an upgrade to a VERY nice suite on one stay. Bath was as large as some rooms I've stayed in.

I ate at the buffet and coffee shop. Both had decent selections and above average food quality.

The whole place is a little pricey but worth it for an occasional treat. If have a car, use the front valet for check-in only. After that, either use the self-park garage or the valet located in back, inside the parking garage.

Can recommend the Rumjungle at Mandalay Bay, isolated away from the casino, great bar, restaurant gets decent reviews. It turns into a nightclub at about 10:30, you can eat there earlier and avoid the line and cover charge for the nightclub.

Sounds nice - may have to check this one out one day - the only drawback is the location. However; I guess one could take the tram to Excalibur, cross the street and take the monorail at the MGM to Ballys for mid-strip activities. Wendell
