Checking hotels for my April trip. Some very good friends just moved to Vegas and are in Henderson so I want to be close.

I can get a Petite Suite at Sunset Station for $79 per night. I can get a room at GVR for the casino rate of $109.

Wife likes a decent pool and I haven't seen the pool at either place.

The rate at Sunset was on the internet so I'd have no gambling obligation.

Where should I stay?

I'm dying to stay at GVR. Heard their rooms are pretty nice and they're supposed to have a great spa too.

I've only stayed at Sunset and they do have a decent pool complex.With easy access to it.

I've stayed at SunSet also and enjoyed my stay. I'm sure GVR has nice rooms, but I see it as a no brainer, your getting more at Sunset for less.

Can you tell me more about their pool complex?

Yes, don't know if your familar with sunset room locations.It is a little walk pass the cafe to the rear.They do have a rear east side entrance to the elevator banks.nice for parking your car and getting your bags in.They had a guard they when I was there last.
Well the pool entrance is right by the guard station.It isn't a fancy pool but nice.It is actually on the Southeast corner of the property as you face it from sunset.Hope this helps.I don't know if there web site shows the pool complex.

You might want to check out AC East. Nice rooms for about $29 great pool and alot of VP.
