Hi folks

I just got a notice in the Everything Vegas e-mail newsletter about a possible strike by the Culinary Union in Las Vegas, which could affect hotels in June or July.

The story emphasizes that IF (big if) a strike happened it would not affect all hotels. The link takes you to a list of those that would or would not be involved.

Anybody else heard anything about this?

Yes, contract expires June 1st i beleive. We'll be in Vegas for that date! LOL I beleive also 1984 was the last big mess, when a lot walked off the job. Trust me, if they do walk, even staying at a place "not affected" by this...it will be affected. Hopefully they get this setteled before we get to the point of a possible strike. Las Vegas dosen't need something like this after taking such a big hit after 9/11
