Desert Inn Implosion ver 2.1.1 (by JMT)
Both the Palm and St Andrews tower of the Desert Inn were imploded on this date in 2004 to make room for the Encore. The towers were used as offices for Wynn as well as a very short lived museum to house Wynn's art collection.
